Songwriting Studios
Spotify offers free studio time for songwriting, production, and all things music creation.
Complete the application form for the requested date. There is no fee for studio time.
Your booking is not confirmed until you receive an email confirmation with the studio address and arrival instructions. If confirmed, you should expect to receive this within a week of submitting the request. Please note, we may not be able to accommodate all requests at this time.
There will be an engineer included and on-site for your session. Please make sure to specify the type of assistance needed from the engineer on the application form.
Yes, Spotify Songwriting Studios is simply providing the space and equipment for you to create. We will provide you with an MP3 bounce of your final recording. Please bring a drive if you wish to save your session files. Spotify will not be responsible for session files after the session is finished.
In order to allow all creators the opportunity to access our Songwriting Studios, consecutive bookings are capped 3 days max within a month. If you are not successful in booking your preferred dates, you may request again for dates in the future.
Yes, absolutely - we welcome anyone to request session time but advise against booking your travel plans until the session is confirmed.
Our Songwriting Studios follow local government advice, so restrictions vary for each location. You shall receive details of any COVID-19 restrictions in your confirmation email should your booking request be successful.
